Key Responsibilities:

  • Within this position you will performs some or all the following duties:
  • independently perform diagnostics, repairs and scheduled maintenance work involving all
    types of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, drivetrain and engine repairs on internal or
    customer owned equipment.
  • Read and interpret parts diagnostics and diagrams
  • Assemble and perform pre delivery inspections of new equipment
  • Account for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
  • Use computerized inventory system and parts libraries
  • Ensuring all paperwork as required relating to service or warranty repairs is filled out promptly
    and correctly and submitted to accounting
    Job Requirements:
  • Positive communication skills towards customers, suppliers and team members
  • The ability to read electrical(AC/DC) and hydraulic schematic drawings
  • The ability to help customers and guide them through repairs remotely over telephone and
    computer from our office.
  • The ability to identify and determine parts required and then arrange to get them in the most
    efficient and timely method.
  • Knowledge and experience with MS office and Google Suite programs
  • Knowledge and experience within specialty crop equipment is a asset

Job duties:

Within this position you will perform some or all the following duties:

  • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
  • Pull wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors for the Mooij installation.
  • Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
  • Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels
  • Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
  • Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement, or repair
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components
  • Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Job requirements:

- Positive communication skills towards customers, suppliers, and team members

- Education in electrical engineering or electrician
