Basrijs e.g. was founded in 1967 by Mr. C.J.A. Bastiaansen as local agricultural machinery company. In 1975 the first own development machine, the punch hole machine for leek. This machine was under the brand BASRIJS marketed. Later this is the main activity of the business. BASRIJS B.V. was acquired in 2004 by his son Corne T.M. Bastiaansen.
At present BASRIJS B.V. an engineering, specializing in the production and development of machinery for outdoor horticulture and arboriculture. The company is based in Rijsbergen, an agricultural village in a region with many outdoor horticulture.
Meanwhile BASRIJS over thirty different machines in its program and are primarily sold in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
